New York City Dance Teacher Substitutes
Are you a dance studio in NYC looking for a substitute teacher for a dance class?
As a dance studio owner, I know that substitute teachers are always needed for a myriad of reasons, such as:
- The dance teacher got sick
- The dance teacher’s child got sick
- There was a death in the family
- Maternity leave
- The teacher is taking a vacation
And the list goes on and on!
The more notice you have the better, but that’s not always an option.
Either way, it can be stressful as a studio owner to find a qualified teacher to take over a class. You often can’t teach the class because you’re teaching another class. And we all know that dance studio owners’ jobs are pretty much around the clock as is, without the added stress of having to find a substitute teacher!
This is one of the reasons I have created Dance Teacher Finder. Dance teachers can post their resume and contact information to our website and then only registered studios can contact these dance teachers, in order to protect these dance teachers’ privacy. Then when you need a substitute teacher, you can contact them via e-mail or phone so you can quickly find a substitute and get on to all the many other tasks you have as a dance studio owner!
You can go to our Find a Dance Teacher Page now and check for dance teachers in the NYC metro area. You can see a list of registered New York City dance teachers, but you will need to register as a dance studio in order to see resumes and contact info.
