Michigan Acro Dance Teachers Looking for Jobs
If you live in Michigan and would like to be an acro dance instructor and get hired by dance studios to teach acro classes, then you will need to show dance studios that you are qualified. After all, dance studios need to feel sure that you can teach proper technique and help students learn skills in a safe environment. A wonderful way to show dance studios how qualified you are would be to take teacher training courses through Acrobatic Arts.
Getting certified by a reputable organization like Acrobatic Arts would go a huge way in helping you get a job. I know as a former dance studio owner that seeing a certification on an applicant’s resume would jump that candidate to one of my top choices. Luckily, there are courses coming up this summer in Michigan if you would like to take these classes.
Module One Course (This covers Acrobatic Art’s primary to level 6; you will need to prove you have a solid understanding of ballet and jazz technique prior to taking this course):
Detroit, Michigan, August 24th to August 25th
Module Two Course (This covers Levels 7 through Pre Professional 3. Teachers must be Module One certified):
Detroit, Michigan, August 27th to August 28th
So I highly recommend you check these classes out as this could help you get more acro dance teaching jobs in Michigan in the future. If you cannot take these classes, you can still put your dance teaching resume on Dance Teacher Finder and that could help you get a dance teaching job as registered dance studios could find you and contact you about teaching jobs. If you do take one of the classes and pass, you can mention your certification on the profile you submit through Dance Teacher Finder. You can also look through Dance Teacher Finder’s job board to see if there are any available teaching jobs in your area of Michigan. Having both the correct skills and the right tools for a job search with Dance Teacher Finder could be just the thing you are needing to get an acro teaching job!
