JOIN OUR TEAM! Are you passionate about dance? The Dance Factory is hiring experienced dance instructors to join our ROCKSTAR team. We believe in providing quality dance instruction in a fun and comfortable environment. Candidates should be comfortable teaching in 2-3 of our dance styles which include Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Bollywood. Ability to teach children and adults preferred.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in dance or a related performing art as well as 2+ years of teaching experience. Those with a strong dance background without teaching experience will also be considered.
Job duties include teaching various dance styles a minimum of 4 hours per week. Strong ability to do so in a safe welcoming environment while fostering the development of individual students is desired. Creativity, strong work ethic and reliability are a must. The Dance Factory, located in the Cordelia area of Fairfield California provides the community with a fun and comfortable environment to explore the performing art of Dance.
Our classes are offered in group settings, private, and semi private lessons. We welcome children and young adults striving to enrich their educational opportunities through dance, as well as adults and professional dancers interested in a secure place to practice their art. For those looking for a fun way to get in shape, our program will offer a variety of dance fitness classes.
Our state of the art studios are equipped with custom sprung dance floors which is essential to preventing injury. Our program, led by experienced instructors boast many years of professional dance experience and knowledge.
We believe that our centralized location, easy to follow instruction, and diverse course offering creates an ideal environment to experience dance.
