Looking specifically for a dance instructor to teach advanced level classes on Wednesday evenings this upcoming Fall and Spring. (September-December & January-May)
Dance Instructors should be qualified to teach advanced levels of lyrical, contemporary and jazz. B Inspired Dance Instructors are professionally trained dancers invested in sharing their passion for the art with young dancers. Instructors should lead by example in areas such as punctuality, responsibility, motivation, and professionalism.
We are hoping to fill these specific dance classes:
– Advanced Jazz
Effectively design and plan curriculum for all levels and populations
Prepare progressive lesson plans which will enhance the experience of program participants.
Record and maintain attendance records.
Set-up studio and return space to neat state upon completion of class.
Accurately complete all administrative duties relating to dance classes (i.e. timesheets, student evaluations/placements, recital forms, etc.)
Enforce B Inspired rules and policies by maintaining constant surveillance of class participants.
Choreograph needed routines for end-of-year recital and/or competition.
Attend staff meetings.
Report injuries and complete required forms.
Immediately notify a supervisor of any broken equipment or unsafe aspects of studio space.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Degree in Dance or Professional Dance experience is preferred but not required.
Displays exceptional interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service
Displays excellent problem solving skills and initiative
Willing to work flexible hours
