Birmingham Alabama Dance Studios: Hiring Dance Teachers
Do you want to own your own dance studio? If you do and you’re also of the millennial generation like myself, then according to a ranking from Thumbtack, you are in a good shape if you live in Birmingham, Alabama per the Alabama Media Group. Per the survey, Birmingham, Alabama is the best city in the country for millennial entrepreneurs.
So if you live in Birmingham and want to start a dance school, then you are in the right place. Though as a former studio owner myself, I know that while the rewards are wonderful, a lot of hard work goes into it. I would say the hardest part would be getting a good staff of dance instructors. What your business is selling is dance instruction, so you want the instruction to be top quality and you want quality teachers who are reliable and whose teaching reflects the identity of your dance studio.
This is why I started Dance Teacher Finder. I designed this website with other dance studio owners because I wasted so much time looking for dance instructors and did not want to lose any more students due to teachers not showing up for their classes. We knew other dance studios wanted this, too. We designed it the way we would want it to work as studio owners ourselves, and some of the features include:
- A dance teacher resume database where you can search for dance teachers in your area and quickly contact them when you need a dance teacher, even at the last minute (which I used, and it worked!)
- A bookmark feature where you can save resumes of candidates so you can contact them at a later time when you need a dance teacher
- A job board where you can post open dance teaching positions
So if you do start a dance studio, I highly recommend using Dance Teacher Finder. That can help you out tremendously, which is great since you already were in good shape if you live in Birmingham, Alabama!
