Requirements

Must be RAD Qualified and be confident in teaching all RAD grades from Pre Primary through to Grade 8 (up to Advanced 2 preferred but not required). Applicants must also be able to teach Beginners Ballet from age 3 years.
Minimum of 3 years experience is required.
Teach other disciplines such as Contemporary, Modern, Tap and Jazz (Preferred but not necessary).
Manage RAD examination entries and supervise examinations.
Have excellent communication skills with children.
Choreograph solo, duet and large group numbers for our annual dance show.
Produce and direct dance shows.
Help in the Planning/scheduling of Classes and Assessments for the term.
Be able to provide Feedback to the parents on the progress of the students.

Qualifications

Bachelors in Dance, or equivalent.
Qualified as a Registered Teacher with the British Ballet Organisation (BBO) Levels 1-4 or Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Grades Pre-primary to Grade 8 and be able to organize and enter students into annual examinations of Ballet.
At least 3 years experience teaching dance. Experience following syllabus work from ages 3 years up to adult.

Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and modern instructors.

Have excellent communication skills with children.

Requirements

Modern training in either Horton or Graham.

Yoga or Pilates teaching experience preferred but not necessary)
