Overview
Have you always wanted to run a dance program with a supportive staff and not have to worry about payroll, rent or collections from clients? We have a well-established dance program and are looking for a candidate with great leadership qualities to inspire all levels of dancers. The Dance Director will oversee the Assistant Dance Director and the Recreational Dance Director along with the part time staff. Must be available evenings Mon-Fri 3:30-8:30 and mornings 9:00-12:00 2 days of the week and Saturday. This is a full time job with 401K and heath assistance if needed. The job will be 40 hours a week average. Salary is negotiable. May have housing assistance if needed.
DMG is looking for a candidate with a strong background or degree in dance. Must be able to put together shows and recitals along with community performances. Experience in competition choreography in multiple genres is a plus. We do hire outside choreographers when needed.
