TITLE: Dance Instructor
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Teacher to join our team and inspire students of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing the well-being and success of their students while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. This role requires an enthusiastic teacher who can motivate and encourage students, as well as a calm and level-headed instructor who can adapt to various teaching situations.
Currently seeking instructors for: Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Toddler classes
Additional responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality dance classes for students of various technique levels
Teach various dance styles and techniques, such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, or other specified styles, as per the contract
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities within the class.
Taking attendance and tracking DNS (Did Not Show) students, helping with contacts as needed
Incorporating leadership principles and lessons into their teaching
Developing choreography and selecting costumes for dance performances
Assisting with rehearsals and performances as assigned by the studio director and/or lead instructor
Qualification:
A bachelor’s degree in dance OR extensive performing experience (must have)
Proven experience as a dance teacher or instructor.
Proficiency in one or more dance styles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of all ages.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Willingness to undergo background checks as required by the institution.
A strong commitment to the well-being and success of each student.

Starting Pay Rate: $25/hr
