Overview
Seeking a positive, energetic, and upbeat dance teacher to join our awesome team! We are looking for someone who is excited to share their love of dance with our youngest students ages 18 months to 8 years old. Ideal candidate would be comfortable teaching Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop and Acro with experience in other styles as well. Looking to hire 1-2 teachers who can start immediately and commit to stay through the end of the season on May 22nd. Option to continue employment into summer and future seasons is possible.
***Availability on Monday and/or Tuesday mornings from 9:00 – 11:00 AM is REQUIRED.***
Additional availability on weekday afternoons and evenings is preferred.
Preferred Experience:
– At least 2 years experience working with children
– Background and training in dance
– At least 1 year of formal or informal teaching experience
– Experience creating and teaching choreography
Education:
– Preferred but not required: College degree in dance (or related field) completed or in-progress
Must have own reliable transportation and be able to commit to a teaching schedule through May of 2020.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $12.00 to $18.00 /hour (depending on experience)

We strive to train the whole dancer and help our students to become better people as well as better dancers. We offer classes for ages 18 months to adult in a variety of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, pointe, musical theater, acro and drill team.
