We are hiring Competition Dance Choreographers & Instructors. You would be responsible for choreography and leading the team during our 2017 season (starting Summer 2016). We have 50+ competition dancers ages 6+ with a variety of skill levels. Looking for someone who is diverse in all styles of dance (tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, etc).
2+ years of dance teaching experience
Strong recommendations and references
Punctuality and responsibility
Ability to work collaboratively
Strong communication & organizational skills
Strong work ethic and dedication to your job
Energetic and outgoing personality
College degree or professional dance experience
Knowledge of dance terminology and proper technique
About Rain Academy of Dance LLC
We are growing, and are looking for Dance Instructors to teach young children the basics of dance. Rain Academy of Dance is celebrating our 5th year and we are in need of great people to teach our little ones Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and more for the remaining season and upcoming school year 2017- 2018. Our perfect candidate will be able to work evening hours of 4-8:30pn Monday- Friday. In addition to teaching classes, we are also looking for a Dance Coordinator, to help with curriculum, recitals, scheduling, social media and more. MUST HAVE DANCE EXPERIENCE TO BE AN INSTRUCTOR. Great for college students and mom’s who are looking for a few hours in the evening. Previous experience is preferred. Previous experience with children is a plus! Permanent long term position available!
