Overview

Prima Dance Arizona seeks to expand our Lyrical and Contemporary faculty for the 2023-2024 school year. Our students must have over one year of ballet class and must take ballet in order to enroll in our lyrical program. Instructors should be

  • Experienced: At least five years instructing experience is required in lyrical dance. Experience in contemporary and modern are helpful.
  • Responsible: PDAZ expects classes to be well-organized and run on time. Classroom management is a priority.
  • Nurturing: Our students are children and young adults, and we pride ourselves on offering positive critical feedback in a disciplined environment.
  • A pedogogical or performance degree or certification is desired but not required.

Acro, modern, or other genre classes may be available during the school year. Instruction opportunities may also be available for the summer of 2023.

About Prima Dance Arizona

We are a highly focused studio in North Scottsdale. We offer quality training for dancers of all ages and abilities, and maintain high expectations for all of our classes and faculty. Many of our students enjoy dancing recreationally, while some are more serious and dance at the competitive level.  Our classrooms are encouraging, positive, and disciplined.  We take our responsibilities as role models very seriously; our first priority is to provide a positive example through discipline, structure, and mutual respect.
