Overview
Seeking dance instructors who can teach Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Broadway Styles Lyrical, and/or Modern to students ages 3-18 for Fall of 2023. Located in Bethlehem. Individual will be responsible for teaching technique classes that run from September through May and choreograph for a Dance Concert the first weekend in June. Other choreography opportunities are also possible throughout the year. Ability to teach various styles a plus.
About Pennsylvania Youth Theatre
Now in its 38th season, PYT’s primary purpose remains the education, empowerment and enrichment of children through the art of theatre. On one hand, PYT is a comprehensive performing arts school, with 650 students (PreK-12) in year-round programs offering classes in three core areas: Acting, Singing and Dancing. On the other hand, PYT is a professional producing organization, bringing 3 to 4 Mainstage, literature-based plays to an audience of 10,000-16,000 annually (8,000 of whom are school groups).
