Overview
Searching for a competition team choreographer and teacher for our 2018 – 2019 school year. This will be our 11th dance season! We are a close-knit family oriented studio and need someone who is passionate about their work who can teach dancers to feel the music and have fun on stage. We are looking for someone to teach both Jazz & lyrical. The job would involve teaching our minis, juniors, and seniors. Looking for someone with experience teaching minis especially, with prior dance competition experience. Competition team classes are held on Sundays. We are conveniently located next to the train for easy travel from Manhattan. We are also located near the Outerbridge for easy travel from New Jersey as well.
About Next Step Dance Studio
Next Step Dance Studio has been open for 10 years and Fall 2018 will be our 11th season! We have three class rooms filled with students eager to learn from ages 2 - adult! We have Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Acrobatics and Irish Step dance. Our competition team starts at the age of 7 - 18 and our Junior competition team begins at age 4! We believe in the importance of Ballet training and good technique and also the importance of having passion on stage when you dance!
