Little People’s Creative Workshop is the nation’s largest organization teaching dance to young children. We have an opening for instructors in Greenville, NC. Our instructors teach our weekly dance classes, working minimal hours per week–no nights or weekends.
If you love the art of dance, have outstanding people skills, are organized, super energetic and enthusiastic, love young children (we only teach ages 2-5 dance, and ages 6-12 theatre arts/acting), and are a leader – then this is a wonderful opportunity for you!
We are looking for instructors that can teach our preschool dance classes on MONDAY-FRIDAY MORNINGS + WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY AFTERNOONS.
Position starting in January —training to start in December.

Little People’s Creative Workshop (LPCW) is the nation’s largest organization teaching dance to young children and is hiring a passionate, energetic Dance Instructor in Greenville, NC. This part-time Dance Instructor role focuses on delivering joyful, high-quality weekly dance classes with minimal weekly hours and no nights or weekends. If you’re a Dance Instructor who loves the art of dance, thrives with young children, and brings strong organization and leadership, we’d love to hear from you. Position starts in January, training in December.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach engaging preschool dance classes (ages 2-5) as a Dance Instructor Monday-Friday mornings — with lesson plans provided
Lead theatre arts/acting sessions (ages 6-12) with lesson plans provided
Create a positive, enthusiastic classroom environment that nurtures confidence and coordination.
Communicate professionally with site staff and parents; manage attendance, class flow, and materials.
Maintain punctuality and reliable transportation to multiple class locations in the Greenville, NC area.
Uphold child safety, classroom management, and LPCW policies, including background check compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
Must be available Monday – Friday mornings + Wednesday and Thursday afternoons (required).
Proven dance experience (required); prior work as a Dance Instructor strongly preferred.
Genuine love for young children; adept at engaging ages 2-5 (dance) and ages 6-12 (theatre/acting).
Outstanding people skills; energetic, enthusiastic, organized leader, the hallmark of a great Dance Instructor.
Must have a reliable car for travel between class sites (required).
Background check required.
Professional presence consistent with an LPCW Dance Instructor.
