Seeking a studio office manager for part time work, if candidate is also a dance instructor we have openings in some styles and levels as well!

We are an established dance studio in Paso Robles is looking for talent.  Seeking a happy, loyal, and efficient person who is looking for a job to get settled in for years to come as there are client relationships that take time to build as this is a school!  This person should be educated preferably have some college or at least a high school diploma, understanding and appreciation of Dance and the Arts, ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment, FABULOUS PEOPLE SKILLS, and most importantly a POSITIVE outlook on life (seeking a happy person with a fun zest for life).  You must LOVE communicating with children of all ages and their parents!  Conflict Resolution is a component of this job.

Job Description:

Great customer service skills to positively communicate with teachers, parents and children.
Ability to see the big picture and help business grow by student count and profit.
Professional appearance at the studio.
Availability to work front desk of studio Monday-Friday afternoons / evenings and some Saturday mornings. Availability to work during weekday morning hours during busy season to work with the Owner.
Minimum of 32 hours per week and possibility of up to 40-50 hours per week during recital and competition seasons.
Ability to work on PC Desktops and learn our dance software program. Studio is completely “online” so computer skills are a MUST. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Google Calendar, and a willingness to learn new programs. Setting up online accounts for families and assisting parents over the phone on how to pay their bill, in addition to other “online” questions.
Create newsletters, flyers, update schedules, calendars, bulletins, and social media and distribute as appropriate. Send birthday cards and other communication as needed to students and staff
Must be comfortable working with staff as a team of employees to maintaining high standards.
Attention to detail is a MUST in this business. Assist the studio owner in preparing large projects and seeing them through.
Willingness to learn everything there is to know about running a Dance Studio. Seeking someone who is interested in the Art Form of Dance.
Pay is negotiable based on experience.
