Overview

The Hamilton Area YMCA is looking for an experienced, dedicated, and creative  Assistant Dance Instructor to teach various styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip-Hop to children ages 3 – 14.  The Hamilton Area YMCA dance program operates year round; the foundation of the program is an 8 month program with 125 children participating.  This program begins in September and ends with a recital in April.

Candidates should have previous teaching experience, excellent organization and communication skills and the ability to work independently.  Candidates should have previous experience working with children ages 3 – 14.  Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Dance classes are offered weekday mornings and evenings.

Candidates should expect to work 8 – 10 hours per week.
