Hip Hop Teacher — Wednesdays, 5:00-9:00 PM Glen Dance Studio · Old Brookville, NY
Glen Dance Studio has been teaching dancers on the North Shore for over 30 years. We are looking for an experienced hip hop teacher to join our staff on Wednesdays from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, teaching ages 7 to 18, intermediate through advanced.
What we are looking for:
Experience teaching hip hop to children and teens
Comfortable taking an intermediate through advanced classes
Strong choreography and age-appropriate music and movement
Someone warm and patient who can hold a room of young dancers together
Reliability. Our families count on seeing the same teacher every week
Availability Wednesdays 5:00-9:00 PM for the full season, through our recital in June
Teach a Wednesday evening schedule of hip hop classes, ages 7 to 18
Choreograph and teach a recital piece for each class
Possibility of choreographing for our competition team for the right candidate
