At Fred Astaire Dance Studio, Burr Ridge, we’re more than a dance studio—we’re a growing community of students and professionals who believe in learning, laughter, and the power of movement. We specialize in ballroom, Latin, and social dance instruction, serving dancers of all ages and experience levels.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and professional Ballroom Dance Instructor to join our team. Ideal candidates are motivated teachers who love helping others grow, both on and off the dance floor.
Responsibilities:
Teach private lessons and group classes in ballroom and Latin dance styles
Provide choreography and coaching for showcases or competitions
Attend studio events, parties, and student socials
Collaborate with staff to support a vibrant studio community
Compete or perform with students in Pro-Am or showcases
Qualifications:
Experience in ballroom or Latin (Smooth/Rhythm) would be an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented
Willingness to grow professionally through training or coaching
Certifications (DVIDA, ISTD, NDCA, etc.) are a plus but not required
