As we open our doors to the New York dance community, we invite passionate, innovative, and versatile dance professionals to join our growing team.

Job Description: In line with our new studio launch, we are on the lookout for highly skilled and enthusiastic dance instructors with a robust background in modern dance and proficiency in teaching various dance styles. If your expertise includes contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, or any other form of modern dance, we welcome you to contribute your talents to our diverse curriculum and enrich our student experience.

Responsibilities:

Create and deliver a comprehensive dance curriculum spanning multiple modern dance styles.
Lead dynamic group classes for different age groups and skill levels, from novice to advanced dancers.
Choreograph routines for student performances, showcases, and competitions.
Offer constructive feedback and technique corrections to facilitate student development.
Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff in organizing recitals, workshops, and special events.
Foster a positive, inclusive environment that nurtures creativity and a passion for dance.
Stay updated on the latest dance trends and methodologies within the modern dance genre.

Qualifications:

Demonstrable experience as a dance instructor with special expertise in modern dance styles.
Excellent choreographic skills and the capacity to create engaging dance sequences.
Superior communication and interpersonal abilities to captivate and support students.
A degree in Dance, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred, but substantial professional experience is also highly valued.
Versatility in working with diverse age groups and skill levels.
First Aid certification would be advantageous.
