LOOKING FOR BALLET INSTRUCTORS!
Successful studio looking to hire an energetic and confident BALLET INSTRUCTOR who is passionate about dance and wants to share their knowledge and skill to all ages. Must be able to plan and execute classes in Ballet to preschoolers through advanced levels. Preference will be given to instructor holding current teacher status from a recognized body; for example, RAD; and be willing to train dancers and complete administrative work for annual examinations. Ability to instruct and choreograph other dance genres such as Jazz, Tap, Acro, or Hip Hop is an asset. Instructor must be confident in providing original, creative, and age appropriate choreography. Some administrative duties will be required, including (but not limited to) costume selection, festival entries, and music preparation.
10-25 hours per week, possibility of additional hours dependent on enrolment.
Studio located in Dawson Creek, BC.
Positions to commence immediately. Season runs from September – May.
Competitive wage to be negotiated based on experience.
Evening and weekend hours required. Some daytime classes (preschool age).
