For 37 years, our studio has been a beloved part of the Brentwood community, known for exceptional training, a nurturing environment, and a loyal, high-end clientele who value both excellence and artistry. We are currently seeking a very special teacher to join our children’s program.
We are looking for someone truly magical — a teacher with an elegant, theatrical presence who captivates children the moment they enter the room. Someone warm, polished, imaginative, and joyful… the kind of teacher little dancers never forget.
Our preschool and early elementary program is the foundation of our studio. Many of these students continue on to become technically trained, dedicated competition dancers within our program, so strong fundamentals and proper technique are extremely important from the very beginning.
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced teaching young dancers
Excellent classroom management skills
High-energy, engaging, and nurturing
Professional, polished, dependable, and team-oriented
Understands how to balance fun, imagination, and structure while maintaining age-appropriate technical training
Passionate about inspiring confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance
Availability Required:
• Monday and Friday from 10:45-11:30
• There is potential to add classes on Saturday mornings for our Parent and Me as well as our other elementary aged classes for the right fit.

About Dance for Kids Brentwood
Welcome to Dance for Kids (DFK) and Brentwood Academy of Dance (BAD)! We are more than just a dance studio, we are a community where children grow with confidence, creativity and compassion. From baby’s first parent and me class, to a graduating seniors final bow, we provide a loving supportive environment that nurtures each dancer’s heart as much as their technique. Our commitment is to inspire joy through movement, and guide every dancer to feel seen, valued, and empowered- on stage and in life.
Classes start at age 2 with Mommy & Me and our dancers stay with us all the way through high school! Classes for our youngest dancers build coordination and motor skills that will benefit students for a lifetime. We encourage creativity, rhythm, balance and listening skills in a fun environment. As students grow they learn ballet, tap, tumbling, and then move on to add jazz, contemporary/lyrical, acrobatics, and hip-hop. Students (from K-12) looking for elite training and lots of opportunities to perform have an opportunity to join our competition and performance teams.
