Carolina Dance Productions is looking for a passionate, skilled Tap Dance Instructor to join our dynamic and talented faculty! Our award-winning tap program is thriving, and we’re ready to expand with the right teacher to support our amazing students across all levels — beginner to advanced, recreational to competitive.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong technical tap training (traditional and rhythmic) and a passion for teaching
  • Ability to instruct beginner through advanced students, ages 5–18
  • Experience teaching both recreational and competitive dancers preferred
  • Positive, energetic, and motivating classroom presence
  • Ability to choreograph engaging and technically strong routines

Position Details:

  • Part-time position (evenings and possible occasional weekends)
  • Some summer classes required, then regular weekly schedule during the 2025-2026 competitive season
  • Recreational and competitive teaching opportunities available

About Carolina Dance Productions

Welcome to CDP- where every dancer gets personalized and professional instruction. It’s what our clients want and CDP delivers! Classes are designed to meet the needs of all ages in all styles of dance. We offer a full schedule of both challenging and recreational classes for our students. Dancers are expected to work at their highest potential, though still keeping them in a positive, nurturing and supportive environment. We strive to provide a foundation of excellence for dancers at all levels.

We also offer an accelerated program for those students who would like to study more intensively in all areas of dance and enjoy performance opportunities locally, regionally and nationally. We feel confident that all of our students are instilled with determination, confidence, poise and that they learn how to balance academics with their passion for dance.
