Camp Wicosuta, an all girls residential camp in Hebron, NH, is seeking a new dance director for Summer 2023! The Dance Director at Camp Wicosuta is a member of the Leadership Team and holds the responsibility of directly supervising the dance staff (4-5 team members). The Dance Director is responsible for all aspects of our dance program, including but not limited to curriculum development, staff scheduling, and department maintenance. Our dance program includes hip-hop, jazz, tap, ballet, and contemporary. In addition, we offer fitness classes in the areas of yoga, pilates, cross training, and a brand new “Ninja Warrior Course.” This individual works with and coaches campers between the ages of 7 and 15 with various dance abilities and skills. The Dance Director ensures that activities are safe, fun, and appropriate to the camper’s age and abilities.
About Camp Wicosuta
Camp Wicosuta is a traditional sleep away camp for girls in Hebron, New Hampshire. Each summer we run two distinct camp sessions, each hosting approximately 300 campers and 170 staff members. At Camp Wicosuta, our 3 Cs philosophy (confidence, competence, and community) is part of everything we do! We offer activities in the areas of athletics, aquatics (pool and waterfront), creative arts, performing arts, environment education, and more. Our staff members can be role models for children, spend the summer outdoors, enjoy fun activities and build great friendships.
