The Studio in South Lyon is actively seeking experienced and energetic dance instructors and choreographers to be a part of our award-winning team! We want innovative artists who excel at sharing their knowledge of proper technique and challenge each of our students to reach their fullest potential. We offer competitive pay, a gorgeous 8,000-square-foot facility to teach in, and an extremely supportive, family-friendly environment. We serve both competitive teams and recreational dancers in a season that runs from September – May, and our curriculum includes Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Technique, Strength and Conditioning, Acro and more. About The Studio
Whether a dancer wants to simply have fun, meet friends and get great exercise, or learn what it takes to be a star, our commitment to the community is to offer courses that strengthen the body and mind, increase self-confidence and teach discipline in unique and creative ways. Our instructors build relationships and connect educational experiences to each child--great care is taken to nurture individual abilities to reach the fullest potential for all ages and levels.
We recognize what a privilege it is to be a part of a dancer's childhood memories! Our Studio staff strives to create an environment that is positive, supportive and enriching. This is reflected in our instruction, our choreography, our costuming, and even the design of our vibrant, spacious facility. The very diverse backgrounds of our teaching team allow The Studio to offer an extensive curriculum, and many innovative classes and camps. We are South Lyon's largest performing arts center, and one of the fastest growing in Southeastern Michigan. We also exclusively partner with South Lyon Recreation, Brighton, Milford, and Walled Lake Community Education, and you can find many of our classes and programs on their online sites, as well. Since 2001, thousands have studied acting, voice or danced their hearts out inside The Studio's walls. We do not believe we are the best because we are the fastest-growing, instead we believe we are the fastest-growing because families think WE ARE THE BEST.
All studios are not the same. We offer an experience to students that is an equal balance of technique and fun. We constantly renovate and improve our facilities, and provide ongoing training for our staff, to ensure we are always giving our students and parents the best experience possible.
