Overview
We are looking for a well rounded dance instructor that can teach more than one style of dance. The more versatile the better. (** NOT looking for teachers that are ONLY qualified in in ONE genre-as we have multiple classes on the schedule in one given night). Looking for someone that can commit to set schedule with the guarantee of at least 2 classes per day and the opportunity to add additional classes to the schedule if able to grow the demand. Hours of operation are: M-TH 330-9, F 3-7, S 8-2. Looking to create a day program. Techniques we offer:Ballet/Pointe (Russian and American technique), Modern (Horton, Graham, and Cunningham technique), Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary. Commitment for the position would be September 2019 through June 2020. About Our school
We are a small technique heavy dance studio that has been in business over 10 years. We are located in Morris Plains, NJ 2 blocks from NJ transit. We offer recreational classes as well as pre-professional dance classes. We are 100% injury free, and have a mixed level class approach. We have two studio productions (winter and spring) but not our focus- we teach them how to dance, not “A” dance for 10 months. We have a separate performance troupe that performs throughout the community at various philanthropic events.
