Arizona Dance Studio is seeking a passionate and nurturing dance instructor to join our team! We are a boutique, family-driven studio dedicated to creating a positive and engaging environment for dancers.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to lead beginner-level classes for preschool-aged dancers as well as Mommy & Me classes. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with young children, brings high energy to the classroom, and values creating a fun and structured learning experience.
Responsibilities:
Teach beginner dance classes for preschool-aged students and Mommy & Me programs
Create a positive, engaging, and age-appropriate class environment
Follow and implement our studio curriculum in weekly classes
Encourage creativity, confidence, and a love for dance in each student
Communicate effectively with parents and staff
Maintain classroom structure, safety, and organization
Requirements:
Prior dance teaching experience (required)
Experience working with young children (ages walking–5 preferred)
Saturday availability (required)
Positive, patient, and energetic personality
Willingness to learn and consistently follow studio curriculum
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in early childhood education or dance
Experience teaching creative movement or preschool dance
Strong classroom management skills
