Teach, guide, motivate, and inspire students to be the best they can be.
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and collaborative individual to teach children ages 6+ in one or more of the following dance styles:
Ballet
Pointe
Tap
Competitive Class (Style open for discussion)
Classes run from September – May, Mon-Fri in the afternoons to evenings. Summer opportunities also available.
Responsibilities include:
Create dance curriculum
Choreography
Evaluate students’ progress
Maintain good PR with staff and public
Communicate with students, parents, and staff
Promote a fun, safe, teamwork, and learning atmosphere for students
Studio activities (i.e. recitals, clinics, community involvement, competitions)
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have dance experience
Formal education is not required
Good communication
Good team collaboration
Previous teaching experience preferred
Experience working with children preferred
