Hip-Hop Teacher

Overview

My Name is Emily Kingsbury and I am owner and Director of the West Roxbury School of Dance, located at 49 Corey St in Boston, MA. We have a last-minute position that opened up that we are in need of filling as soon as possible.

We are looking for an experienced Hip-hop instructor to teach a weekly 1-hour class on Mondays from 5:45-6:45 to children ages 13-18. It is an intermediate level class that is composed of a 30-minute warm-up and 30 minutes dedicated to learning their dance that is performed at the end of the year. This position would require a strong passion and dedication to teaching and choreographing. You would be paid about $25/hour however we are flexible in discussing other options.

This position would only hold from Monday, January 25th up into the end of May, when we have our Recital that ends the year. Although this specific position is only for 1 class for the next 4-5 months, if all goes well it is very likely that there is room for us to offer a more permanent teaching position with more hours for the 2021-2022 dance year.
