Overview
WRSD is looking to hire a teacher well versed in Classical Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz and Tap to be a head teacher and choreographer in the 2021-2022 school year as the studio owner takes a step back to a managing position. This head teacher would be responsible for lesson planning and choreography for all classes in their schedule. Ideally, we are looking for someone to teach on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3-7 and Saturdays from 8-3:30. This will be a salary position. Wages will be disclosed upon interview.
Along with teaching, we are also looking for someone who would be interested in purchasing the rights to the studio sometime in the near future. Our current owner is looking to pass on her business to a strong, caring, and passionate dance teacher who is committed to their work and wants to dedicate their future to owning their own studio. This position is very flexible and if you are only looking for a head teaching position, the studio is open to just hire with the option to buy in the future.
