Overview
Currently looking for contract instructor for Combination children’s classes ranging from 3yrs to 3rd grade for the 2017-2018 dance season.
There are also other opportunities available in the same contract including summer camp programs and competition work.
Must be proficient in pre-ballet, pre-tap, and pre-jazz. Technical proficiency is a must as well as a great positive attitude. Must be motivational, accepting, and capable of handling a diverse student population. Our motto is “Everyone Deserves the Chance to Dance”.
Must be willing to love and care for all levels of students, even on bad hair days (yours or theirs). Must be willing to participate in annual performances, inclusive of production choreography, and events throughout the dance season (yes we do parties and parades).
Prefer BFA or Bachelors in Dance Education. At least 2 years actively teaching/leading young children in the arts required.
