Overview
Velocity Dance Center in Oklahoma City is hiring for this school year and beyond. Our classes are taught by skilled teachers, in positive classrooms and we pride ourselves on age-appropriate movement and music. Our students go beyond technique to important life skills – learning to be respectful, confident, and hard-working young people in the community.
You must have a ballet, jazz, and tap experience (if you have cheer, tumbling, hip hop or contemporary as well that is a plus), a love for teaching dancers of all ages and abilities, a high level of energy and enthusiasm to match our students, excellent presentation and professionalism, a thorough knowledge of hip hop and a heart for continuing personal and professional development.
We only hire career-minded long term employees what have a stand out work ethic and a desire to grow. This position is a part-time (20+ hours a week) position with the opportunity to grow to a full-time position.
