Overview
Variations Dance Studio (Auburn, AL) seeks a Youth Director for our Petite Academy Division. During the academic year (Aug-May), full-time faculty members teach and help manage backstage areas during all performance opportunities and demonstrations. In addition to their teaching schedule during the academic year, faculty members will have the option to teach in our Summer Programs and/or Outreach programs.
Requirements:
Experience in teaching Youth levels is preferred (Students among the ages of 2-7yrs.)
Must be able to implement creative movement exercises alongside technical lesson plans.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Wonderful connection with children and parents.
Exude positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
Knowledge in basic computer skills. Office work might be required.
Willingness to participate in all duties associated with performance events for Variations Dance Studio.
