Trumbull Performing Dance Academy is seeking a Pre-school dance teacher assistant to assist our lead teacher. We are looking for a teacher who wants to share their passion for dance with our students. We offer a family like work environment, and would love to add another member to our teaching family.

We are looking for a teacher assistant to come join our team for September 2024. We are looking for a permanent teacher to grow with our school. The new teacher will assistant with our  Ballet, Tap classes on Mondays and Wednesdays and our Twinkle Star Ballet and Tap classes on Saturdays.

The Teacher must have experience with Pre-school ballet, tap and gymnastics a plus.  The teacher will take over the class in January 2025 while the teacher is out on maternity leave. The teacher assistant  must be able to choreograph for the June Recital.  The teacher would be required to sub a class, as needed, throughout the year.

TPDA is looking for  Dependability, professionalism, creativity, punctuality, and friendliness are a must!

TPDA would prefer a bachelors in teaching dance or a BFA. However, this job is 
opened to applicants who do not have a college diploma
This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:

Job Type: Part-time 
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour depending on experience. 
Expected hours: 2 – 3 hours per week to start.

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) 
Experience: Dance Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
