About The Pink Slipper Dance Academy
This is our studio’s 15th year in business. We offer recreational and competition classes for ages 2-18 in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Pointe. We also provide a “Chance to Dance” class for students in wheelchairs and voice lessons.
For the past 14 years, I have taught all the classes myself. Now, I am currently pregnant with my second child due January 16. Our studio is growing each year (80+ students last season) and I’m at a point in my life and career that help is needed.
My main concern for hiring is finding someone I can trust to run the studio and teach the classes for my short maternity leave and if the connection is right, share the load of teaching into the future!
My goal this season is to split the class schedule and mentor the employee until my baby is due, then hand over the reins in-house until I return to teach. I’ve never shared my business or my students so I am praying to find someone who is passionate about dance and will love our dance community the way that I do!
