Overview
I primarily need a Pre-Ballet instructor for children 2-6 y.o. I need someone who is not only good working with children that age, but who also understands the importance of providing a foundation for developing proper technique – and can keep young students engaged and having fun. I also need instructors for Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern, Acrobatics, and Ballet. Ability to teach any of those styles is highly desirable. Vocal and Instrumental Music training is a plus.
I need someone for morning Summer Camps in July and continuing for weekday evening and Saturday morning classes in the Fall. I look forward to receiving your resume.
About The Performing Arts Center of Temple Terrace/Temple Terrace Ballet LLC
Established 30 years ago primarily as a Ballet school, we recently relocated to a new location and began offering instruction in all dance forms as well as vocal and instrumental music classes. We are also producing musical theatre shows to give our students opportunities to showcase their full range of talents. The pandemic shut us down right as we were building up our programs, but we have held on and are looking to blossum as restrictions are now being eased. I'm looking for someone who can be pivotal in developing the Pre-Ballet program and seeks to grow with our program. You must be a 'team player' who understands the importance of that role.
We are not a 'competition school' although our older dancers do attend YAGP and select other Ballet competitions if desired. We do mixed reparatory concerts along with full-length ballets.
