Dance Instructor

Overview

The Greenwood Dance Center in Greenwood, South Carolina is currently hiring for our 2018/2019 Season, beginning in September 2018. We are currently looking for instructors with experience teaching Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary to ages 5-18. Experience in teaching all or several genres is a bonus, but expertise in one genre is also sought. The Greenwood Dance Center is a well established, Christian dance studio that focuses on bringing the joy of dance to students in a Christ-centered environment. Teachers are responsible for teaching well planned, age/ability appropriate classes that follow clear technical progressions. Teacher responsibilities also include: Weekly lesson plans, choreography for our May Recital, and optional help with Social Media/Website design and management. Our ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, self motivated, and highly creative. Because of our overall mission, our teachers must be dedicated to training our students in a positive, encouraging, constructive way.
