Acro Teacher

Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced teacher in Acro that is able to teach ages 7-17 throughout various levels. Candidate must be energetic, organized, and punctual. This new addition to our team will be responsible for teaching and training a diverse group of students, supporting our students in and out of the studio, and creating an authentic and engaging environment for students to grow physically and spiritually.

At Stone Dance Academy our mission is to instill a life-long appreciation of dance and the performing arts while inspiring self-confidence, integrity, and discipline in a safe and nurturing environment. We offer a comprehensive and creative dance curriculum for the developing thru advanced dance student. We believe in a fully immersive dance education that combines the importance of physical, emotional, and spiritual development for every student.

This position is not permanent at the moment, however could become a permanent position.

Responsibilities for Acro teacher:

Culminating lesson plans
Ability to communicate with students, parents, and teachers
Encouraging and advocating a fun and create space for students
Choreographing dances and selecting music for recitals
Demonstrating patience and leadership

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:

Teaching: 2 Years (Preferred)

Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
