Overview
Stagecoach theatre arts, the worlds longest running and most successful performing arts program for children is looking for a dance instructor to join our Bowmanville team starting in September 2016. Our school runs on Saturdays 10am – 1pm from September through early June, with breaks in December and March.
We’re looking for an outgoing individual who is able to teach musical theatre style classes to children ages 6-16yrs. The successful applicant will also choreograph routines for our annual musical production and work with the acting and singing instructors in directing the performance.
Applicants must have extensive dance training with a focus in jazz and contemporary styles (ballet and hip hop training is also an asset). Applicants should have experience working with children of varying ages and levels of ability. They should feel comfortable choreographing group routines for a musical production and a strong repertoire of musical theatre is an asset.
