Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Salsa Instructor to join our team in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching salsa dance lessons to students of all levels and ages. As a Salsa Instructor, you will work part-time to teach group and private lessons, and to develop and manage the Salsa dance program within our organization.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute innovative salsa dance lessons for students of all levels.
-Teach group and private salsa dance lessons.
-Improve students’ salsa dance skills and technique.
-Manage class schedules, activities and day-to-day operations of the Salsa dance program.
-Provide excellent customer service and support to dancers.
-Work closely with the team of instructors, take dance critiques and feedback.
-Participate and/or lead in salsa dance competitions/shows.
Requirements:
-At least 2 years of experience in teaching salsa dance lessons.
-Thorough knowledge of salsa dance styles and techniques.
-Highly energetic, motivated and engaging personality.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
-Customer service focused attitude.
-Enthusiasm to relocate to San Juan, Puerto Rico and be part of a new dance studio.
