Dance Teacher- Part Time

Make a difference through dance at a nationally and locally acclaimed studio. SB Dance Arts has been in business for 23 years and is a proud More Than Just Great Dancing and YPAD certified studio. We believe that that we are not only teaches kids to be great dancers, but we also teach dancers how to be great kids! SB Dance Arts provides classes from ages 12 mos-adults. We provide classes and programs for recreational through pre-professional levels.

We are looking for an energetic and qualified instructor that is able to teach toddler and preschool dance and/or hip hop and/or jazz, and/or ballet for ages 12mos-teens. We need teachers who can teach all levels with a balance of nurturing and discipline in the classroom and who believe in supporting wellness and mental health in our students after what has been a long year! Experience teaching on zoom and the associated technology is a plus.

Compensation is paid by the class duration (30 mins-1.5 hr) with a range from $12-$45 per class- DOE.

The position entails a few hours per week of light administrative duties that require proficiency in the Microsoft Office and Google Suite. There separate rate for administrative work.

Start Date Flexible Between June and August

Qualifications:

Degree in Dance (B.A or B.F.A) preferred

A minimum of 2 years experience teaching youth dance.
