Overview

Mobile studio is currently looking for teachers for various classes in Montgomery County, Prince George’s County and northwest DC. Saturday availability is a must. Classes may include Ballet classes from age 3 to adult, Beginner Jazz and Tap Combo classes and Jazz/Contemporary Fusion class for Preteens, with possibility for expansion. Availability for private lessons a plus.

Instructor should be outgoing and patient with a willingness to positively encourage all students. She or he should have a passion for dance and at least 2-5 years experience teaching and/or dancing. References are required. Once hired, instructor will be required to submit to a background check and fingerprinting ($35 with partial reimbursement).

Pay begins at $20/hour, depending on experience. We give you the opportunity to earn more: get paid a bonus for filling your classes!

We also offer teaching training classes and performance opportunities.

RL Dance Company was founded in Maryland in 2013 and has offered classes and private lessons in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, movement, ballroom, Pilates and yoga to all ages from tots to adults. Founder and Artistic Director, Robyn Lindsey has 17 years teaching experience and has expanded her company to offer classes through mobile sites as well as Montgomery County Recreation. We also offer classes for children and adults with special needs.

RL Dance Company has partnered with DC-based company, Connect the Dots School of Dance to offer the same high level teaching and access to dance programs in the DC Metro area.
