On Pointe Dance Studio is an innovative dance studio in Beijing, China, catering to internationally educated children for over 13 years. We offer a comprehensive and varied teaching program that includes ballet, contemporary, tap, strength and stretching and acro. Our ballet syllabus follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) curricula, with accredited RAD examinations held annually. Our dedicated instructors are fully trained and experienced in their respective fields, committed to excellence in teaching and nurturing each student’s potential. All classes are taught in English.
Available Positions:
1. Lower School RAD Ballet Teacher
• Responsibilities:
o Instruct students in the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus from pre-school – Grade 3.
o Develop lesson plans that cater to varying skill levels.
o Prepare students for examinations and performances.
o Coach and mentor students and groups for International and mainland competitions
2. Middle School – Upper School RAD Ballet Teacher
• Responsibilities:
o Teach Grade 3- Advanced 2 RAD ballet techniques
o Choreograph pieces for competitions and recitals.
o Mentor students aiming for professional dance careers.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Dance or a related field.
• RAD certification or equivalent credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in ballet.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Remuneration:
· Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
· 1 bedroom apartment, fully furnished in addition to salary
