Overview
In search of a qualified and experienced Dance Instructor to fill a long- term substitute position for 1 night a week in the styles of Tap and Jazz. Looking to fill the position now as an on-call sub throughout our 1st Term to get accumulated with the students and classes. The candidate will fully take over the classes at the start of our Term 2 through the end of the year. Possibility for coverage needed through the summer session as well.
The qualified candidate must be experienced and comfortable with teaching the following levels and classes;
Level 3/4- Tap
Adult Beginning Tap
Adult Int/ Advance Tap
Qualified candidates will be responsible for class instruction, music, costume selection and attend the dress rehearsal for our annual Spring Recital. Depending on the qualifications, there may be some additional opportunities to sub other classes and levels throughout the year.
Candidates will complete an interview and provide class instruction for the listed levels with observation.
