Overview

We are searching for a very special kind of dance teacher.

Not just someone who can choreograph.
Not just someone who can perform.

We are looking for a versatile, technically strong educator who understands teamwork, leadership, and how to teach across all age levels… from preschool to pre-professional.

Yes, that may sound like a unicorn.
But they do exist…I have a few!

At Miss Kim’s, we believe in mentorship. If you are willing to learn, grow, and be poured into, you will thrive here. Our teachers develop into strong leaders who shape hundreds of young dancers — not only technically, but into confident, kind human beings.

We are specifically seeking:

• A strong tap instructor
• Proficiency in jazz and lyrical
• A solid acro foundation
• Hip hop experience is a bonus

Who You Are:

• Passionate about both excellence and culture
• Comfortable teaching multiple age groups
• Strong classroom manager
• Team-oriented and growth-minded with a positive attitude
• Eager to be mentored and developed

• Teaching opportunities at both Miss Kim’s (ages 2–11) and Miss Kim’s NEXT STEP (12+)
• Over 1,000 students across both studios
• Established pre-professional ballet program

If you are ready to teach at a high level, be part of a collaborative team, and help shape the next generation of dancers, we would love to hear from you.

About MISS KIM'S CHILDREN'S DANCE & ARTS

Miss Kim’s Children’s Dance & Arts and Miss Kim’s NEXT STEP are two thriving, excellence-driven studios serving over 1,000 students in Burlington, North Carolina.

Founded in 2020, Miss Kim’s has experienced rapid and intentional growth and is known for strong foundational training, structured curriculum, and a culture rooted in leadership, mentorship, and character development.

Miss Kim’s NEXT STEP (ages 12+) offers elevated training, competitive company programs, and a pre-professional ballet track under the direction of Vaganova-trained Artistic Director Anna Zheleznyakova. Our ballet program presents full-scale productions with live orchestra and maintains high classical standards.

Across both locations, we offer:
• 175+ classes per week
• Competitive teams and traditional programs
• A structured acro progression model
• A dedicated ballet pathway
• A mentorship-based teaching environment

We are not a recreational-only studio.
We are a growth-focused training program developing both dancers and educators.
