Melodic Movements Performing Arts Program Inc. is a non profit dance program located in Wilmington, DE. Our mission is to provide affordable and quality dance instruction. Our studio is a very fun, loving dance family. Melodic Movements is known in the community for performances and productions throughout the city of Wilmington. We are currently seeking a ballet instructor for the 2021-2022 dance season. Instructor must have at least two years of dance teaching experience and experience in teaching in an urban community. We are seeking candidates that not only have a love for dance, but a love for their students as well. Must have availability to work Monday evenings. A Bachelors degree in dance, dance education or education is a plus.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Two years of experience
- Ability to teach ballet history & terminology
- Ability to introduce pre pointe and pointe classes
