Overview
Marilyn’s Dance Studio, LLC is looking for a dynamic, motivated individual to teach all aspects of ballet, including classical, pointe, lyrical and modern. The individual works as an independent contractor and salary is based upon a percentage of student tuitions. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your unique program in an established studio. Hours of instruction are based upon enrollment. There is room to expand hours as student need arises. Ballet classes have taken place on 3 to 4 days a week in the past. We have two studio rooms available for classes. Student ages have ranged from elementary age through high school students and some adults.
We are also looking for someone to teach hip hop. Our hip hop enrollment has been growing. The teacher works as an independent contractor with salary based upon a percentage of student tuitions. Hours of instruction are based upon enrollment.

Marilyn's Dance Studio, LLC is preparing for it's 52nd year of teaching dance instruction. Enrollment typically ranges between 150 to 170 students with higher amounts at various times through the decades. Marilyn's has participated in community parades, school carnivals, community celebrations and competitions. Our students present an annual recital in June to showcase what they have learned throughout the dance season. Several of our students represent the third generation of students to learn dance at Marilyn's. A few of our students have gone on into careers on Broadway or in professional dance companies. One student has represented Pennsylvania in the Miss America pageant.
While being independent contractors, our team of teachers and studio director work together to produce the recital and other ventures.
