Overview
Jackson’s School of Performing Arts (JSPA) is Bermuda’s longest-established dance school, fostering creativity, discipline, and joy in students from age 2 to adults. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Teacher to join our faculty in January 2027 and to undertake some office/administrative work. The ideal candidate will be able to create age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans and teach dance classes for students ages 2 through adults.
BA or BFA in Dance preferred
Excellent technical knowledge across multiple dance styles
Strong classroom management and pedagogical skills
Ability to connect with, motivate and develop students of all ages
Professional, timely, reliable, and collaborative
Knowledge of safe dance practices and injury prevention
Passionate about nurturing both artistry and discipline in young dancers
