Overview
We are looking for Dance instructors to educate and motivate children and young adults ages 18mo to 18yrs. We are looking for passionate teachers who pride themselves on educating young adults in dance, and basic life skills. We are studio that focuses on the quality of movement as well as technical skills. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant studio environment, ensuring high levels of education, effectiveness, and safety. The instructor must have the ability and willingness to adapt often to changes and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Providing high-quality dance education.
• Choreograph dances for our annual spring performance and/or competition routines.
• Mentoring young adults
• Encouraging and motivating children to express themselves through the art of music
• Choosing and editing age-appropriate music.
• Picking and choosing costumes for performances
• Promoting studio events, master classes, and summer camps.
• Creating and maintaining clear and effective communication and organization
Requirements:
• Customer Service Skills
• Proven dance experience
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong technical foundation and ability to teach it
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with parents and students.
• Strong organizational skills
• A creative mind
• A team player with a desire to help others
• Basic sales experience is a plus
