Overview
Extravadance Studio is currently seeking instructors for the 2016-2017 dance year commencing in September.
We have two studio locations, one is located in Yorkton, SK and the other located in Canora SK, about 25 minutes away. Ideally instructors would teach at both locations to maximize teaching hours.
We are in need of a ballet prominent instructor; a background in RAD would be beneficial but not a requirement. Ballet levels would need to be taught from Grade 1 through Inter Foundation, beginner pointe as well.
Currently our students follow the ADAPT tap and jazz syllabus and RAD ballet syllabus. They have not participated in exams; they compete two to three times a year and also have a year end recital.
Experience in tap, jazz, theatre or contemporary is also beneficial. Teachers would be required to choreograph and attend their competitions.
