Are you a qualified DDE Teacher who is passionate about rhythm, technique and bringing the joy of dance to life?
We are looking for an inspiring ISTD Tap and Modern teacher to join our energetic team.
If you love nurturing young performers, building confidence and creating classes filled with energy, artistry and strong foundations, we would love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons
– Guide students and help to develop strong foundational skills in a nurturing, fun and safe environment
– Choreograph performance routines
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth
– Prepare students for annual ISTD examination and performances
Qualifications:
– Must be DDE Trained
– Experience in teaching ISTD Tap and/or Modern classes (Primary to Vocational Grades) to students 5 – 18 years old
– Strong understanding of age-appropriate instructions and Tap and/or Modern pedagogy, excellent communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude
– Ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels
– Enthusiasm, creativity and excellent communication skills
